The petitioners have been summoned as accused in the aforementioned complaint and were ordered to face trial for commission of offence punishable under Sections 498-A of IPC vide order dated 17.09.2021. 2.

The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of the complaint and the summoning order dated 17.09.2021 on the basis of a compromise dated 25.10.2023 (Annexure P-3) as arrived at between the parties.
