(Oral) The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to extend the territorial jurisdiction of arms licence of the petitioner which is valid upto 14.09.2025. Precisely, for the claim in question, the petitioner has already served a legal notice dated 20.10.2022 upon respondent No.1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case his legal notice dated 20.10.2022 is directed to be decided by the competent authority/ respondent No.1 by passing a speaking order in accordance with law at the earliest.
