The present petition has been filed inter alia praying for protection of life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents.

It has been submitted that, in fact, respondents No. 3 & 5 are pressurizing the petitioners to withdraw the civil suit filed by them qua the dispute against the parties.

Apparently, there is no threat to the life and liberty of the petitioners, however, the petitioners are at liberty to approach the Court of competent jurisdiction under the provisions of Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. in case, they still feel that there is any threat to them.
