Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'BNSS') for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.524 dated 6.9.2022, under Sections 22(C), 27-A and 29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (Sections 201, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of the IPC added later on), registered at Police Station Israna, Panipat. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for some time, seeks to withdraw the petition in hand as the FIR in question is still pending investigation qua the petitioner.
