RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present writ petition is for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family from the hands of respondents No.4 to 8 with a further prayer to decide the representation dated 01.12.2022 in a time-bound manner. It has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has already moved a representation dated 01.12.2022 to respondent No.2, however, no action has been taken so far. Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3 only, at this stage. On the asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State. The petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. the Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar Rural, to decide the representation dated 01.12.2022 (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitioner within a period of one month from today in accordance with law.
