Learned counsel for the petitioners relies upon order dated 23.05.2018 passed in CWP-13177-2018 titled as 'Devinder Singh and others versus State of Punjab and another'. He further submits that he shall limit his claim to 38 months prior to the filing of the present writ petition. On the asking of the court, Ms. Anu Chatrath, Addl.A.G., Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. She submits that the State shall consider the case of the petitioners in terms of order passed in Devinder Singh's case (supra) and take necessary steps within three months.

In view of statement made by her, this petition is hereby disposed of.
