ARUN MONGA, J. (Oral) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks writ of certiorari for quashing the order/letter dated 18.11.2019 bearing No.E.A/B.C-4/6266-6320 (Annexure-P.2) issued by respondent No.2 whereby the petitioner was transferred inter-se Department to the post of Clerk, office of Sub Divisional Magistrate, Amritsar, which is totally contrary to the policy issued by the Punjab Government dated 23.04.2018 (Annexure-P.1). 2.

In the premise, petitioner had submitted a representation dated 18.11.2019 (Annexure.P-3), but the same was not adverted by the respondents. Hence, the writ petition.

On advance service of copy of petition, Mr. Mehardeep Singh, learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, puts in appearance and accepts notice on behalf of respondents.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to objectively consider the representation dated 18.11.2019 (Annexure.P-3) and also by keeping in view the contentions stated in the present writ petition by treating it as a supplementary representation and pass a speaking order, in accordance with law.

Let the needful be done within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 8.

Disposed of in above terms.
