IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH CWP No.12456 of 2019 Date of decision: 19.09.2019 Sojanya Kumar and others ..Petitioners
Versus
State of Haryana and others ..Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE DAYA CHAUDHARY HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SUDHIR MITTAL
Present:
Mr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Advocate for the petitioners.
*** Daya Chaudhary, J. (Oral) The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is that in front of the houses of the petitioners and other persons, some surplus land is lying, which is not being used for any purpose. In between that land and the houses of the petitioners and other persons, the road is there, which is very narrow.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that neither the road is safe and convenient nor that surplus area is being used. Learned counsel further submits that in spite of making many representations, no action has been taken so far on the same. Learned counsel also submits that the petitioners would be satisfied in case, directions are issued to decide the pending representations.
However, on perusal of case file, it transpires that the representations were made much earlier in the year 2014-15 but latest representation is not there.
