Ms. Swati Batra, Advocate, for the petitioner. ***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondents to release salary of the petitioner for the work done by him with the Excise and Taxation Department, Gurdaspur, from Ist July, 2005 to 31st December, 2005.

Admittedly, petitioner was employed through an outsourcing agency namely Wisec Global Limited. Petitioner was being paid his dues by the said agency.

It is inexplicable how petitioner can have a cause of action against the Excise and Taxation Department, Gurdaspur. Besides, the claim pertains to the year 2005 and is hopelessly time-barred.
