On 12.01.2024 the following order was passed : 'On first call arguments were addressed at length and this Court was not inclined to entertain the present petition. The learned counsel then sought time to vacate the premises. On a query put by this Court as to whether the petitioner is willing to clear the arrears of rent as also to pay the future rent till vacation of the premises, the learned counsel for the petitioner had sought a pass-over to get his instructions. On second call, a request for an adjournment has been made on behalf of the arguing counsel for the petitioner on the ground that there has been a bereavement in his family. Thereafter, on 16.01.2024 a request for a pass over was made on behalf of the counsel for the petitioner on first call however on second call none had appeared on behalf of the petitioner and the case was adjourned for today.

Today learned counsel for the petitioner has informed the Court that the possession of the premise in dispute has already been taken by the respondent.
