The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 02.05.2025 passed by this Court in CRWP-3951-2024.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Animesh Sharma, Addl. A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.
This Court had issued the following directions, vide order dated 02.05.2025 in CRWP-3951-2024:- "5.
In view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, to look into the representation dated 29.04.2023 (Annexure P-1) and take necessary steps, if any required, in accordance with law at the earliest." Learned counsel for the respondent submits that in compliance of the order dated 02.05.2025 passed by this Court in CRWP-3951-2024, representation dated 29.04.2023 made by the petitioner has been considered and decided by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Investigation), Jalandhar, vide its speaking order dated 24.07.2024. A copy thereof has been taken on record as well as supplied to the learned counsel for the petitioner, who does not dispute the same.

In view of the above, since the order dated 02.05.2025 passed by this Court in CRWP-3951-2024, has already been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 7.
