ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus directing the official respondents to release the detenue namely Arti, daughter of the petitioner, from the illegal custody of respondent No.4.

In terms of the order dated 09.12.2022, the Illaqa Magistrate has recorded the statement of detenue Arti, daughter of the petitioner Mahavir, in which she has stated that she has studied upto Class 12th and without pressure or influence, she has left the home on 10.11.2022 and performed marriage with Vikas on 11.11.2022 in a Temple at Jind and she want to stay with her husband. A photocopy of the statement of the detenue is taken on record as Mark X.

The detenue also present in the Court today and again she has stated that she is major and she want to stay with her husband Vikas.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
