(Oral) At this stage, counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that as per instructions from the respondent, he has no objection, if the transfer application is accepted and the petitions i.e. GW/9/2025, titled "Surinder Chand v/s Geeta Rani" filed under Section 25 of Guardians and

Wards Act and petition under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act i.e. HMA/207/2023 titled "Surinder Chand and Geeta Rani" are transferred from Family Court, Malout to Guruharsahai, District Firozepur. However, counsel for the respondent submits that since the respondent is working as Constable in Punjab Police, he may be given an option to make appearance through virtual mode, before the courts concerned.

In view of the submissions made by counsel for the respondent and also taking into consideration the fact of two children born from the wedlock of the parties, aged about 8 years and 4 years, studying at Guruharsahai, as well as considering the fact of one complaint under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, already pending in the courts at Guruharsahai, wherein the respondent is already making appearance, the present applications are hereby allowed and both the petitions i.e. petition under Section 25 of Guardians and Wards Act i.e. GW/9/2025, titled "Surinder Chand v/s Geeta Rani" and petition under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act i.e. HMA/207/2023 titled "Surinder Chand and Geeta Rani", stand transferred from the Family Court, Malout, to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur. The requisite record of the aforesaid case be sent by the Family Court, Malout, to the District and Sessions Judge, Ferozepur.

Learned District and Sessions Judge, Ferozepur, shall assign the said petition to the Family Court, Guruharsahai. Even, the parties are directed to appear before the Family Court, Guruharsahai, within a period of one month from today onwards.

So far as, the request made for appearance through virtual mode is concerned, the respondent always has the option to file an appropriate

application, before the court concerned and the court concerned shall pass an appropriate order, in the fitness of the circumstances, considering the necessity being there for making appearance in person or not. Anyhow, considering the nature of the job of the respondent, learned trial Court is hereby requested to make an endeavour to adjourn both the cases on one and the same date, looking at the convenience of the respondent also.
