The petitioners through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India are seeking a direction to the respondents to allot them paddy in terms of Custom Milling Policy 2023-24. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners inter alia contends that respondents are allotting RO paddy to the petitioners despite the fact that Milling Center with which petitioners are attached is having sufficient free paddy. The petitioners have filed representation dated 18.10.2023 (Annexure P-5) before Chairman, District Allotment Committee, Department of Food and Civil Supplies, Rupnagar. The grievance of the petitioners, at this stage, would be redressed, if Chairman, District Allotment Committee, Department PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.11.03 14:56 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP No.24803 of 2023 -2- 2023:PHHC:140023 of Food and Civil Supplies, Rupnagar, is directed to look into the representation (Annexure P-5) of the petitioners and pass appropriate order. 3.

Learned State counsel submits that representation of the petitioners shall be considered by Chairman, District Allotment Committee, Department of Food and Civil Supplies, Rupnagar, within three working days and an appropriate order would be passed. 4.

In the wake of statements of learned counsels for the parties, the present petition stands disposed of. The respondents shall consider, apart from already made representation, the present writ petition as additional representation of the petitioners.
