The petitioners through instant petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India are seeking direction to respondents to allot paddy as per milling policy for the year 2023-2024.

The petitioners are engaged in the business of milling rice. The petitioners are dependent upon paddy supplied by the State Government Agencies. The State Government every year frames milling policy known as Custom Milling Policy (CMP). Like previous years, the respondents have framed Policy for KMS 2023-2024. The grievance of the petitioners is that respondents are not allotting paddy to the petitioners as per their entitlement. 3.

The petitioners submits that this Court in CWP-13260-2020 vide order dated 01.09.2020 has directed the respondents to decide representation. In present case, the petitioners have filed representation PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.11.03 16:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP No.24794 of 2023 -2- 2023:PHHC:140046 dated 18.10.2023(Annexure P-3) before the respondent No. 7 who is not paying heed to the aforesaid representation.

The respondent No.7 is directed to look into the representation of the petitioners and pass an appropriate order within two weeks from today.
