On 07.04.2022 the following order was passed : "The present appeal pertains to the year 2019 and the same is still at the stage of preliminary hearing. None has put in appearance on behalf of the appellant. Though, no ground is made out to further adjourn the matter, however, keeping in view the intervening circumstances created due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and the fact that the matter has been listed for the first time 27.11.2019, one last opportunity is granted to counsel for the appellant to argue the matter. In the interest of justice, adjourned to 14.07.2022. Registry to inform the counsel for the appellant of the date fixed."

Thereafter, the case was adjourned on numerous dates by order. On 29.09.2023 none put in appearance on behalf of the appellant again and the case was adjourned to today. Today the case has been called twice, however, none has put in appearance on behalf of the appellant. It appears that the appellant is not interested in pursuing the present appeal. 3.

In view of the above, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution. 4.

Dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
