Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of appropriate direction to respondent Nos.1 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from respondent No.5 to 8.

Short reply by way of affidavit of PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Phillaur, District, Jalandhar, on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 6- State filed in Court today is taken on record. 3.

It has been mentioned in the status report that there is no threat perception to the present petitioners from respondent Nos.7 & 8. Actually, dispute between the present petitioners and private respondents is regarding money, which is of civil nature.

In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition.
