*** HARPREET SINGH BRAR, J. (ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.208 dated 20.08.2023 registered under Sections 420, 406, 120-B IPC at Police Station Sahnewal, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom. At the very outset, Mr. Subhash Godara, Addl. A.G., Punjab, who appears on advance notice, submits that the present petition is premature, as the investigation is still pending.

Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach this Court again in case final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. in the FIR (supra) is filed against the petitioner.
