Instant writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to re-issue/renew the passport of the petitioner. 2.

Advance copy of the petition has been served upon the respondents. 3.

Ms. Monica Chawla, Advocate, has put in appearance on behalf of respondents No.1 and 3. On the basis of e-mail dated 28.10.2024, received from the Regional Passport Office, Chandigarh, she submits that the passport has been renewed and despatched to the petitioner. 4.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has received the passport and the instant petition has become infructuous. 5.
