(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to remove the respondent No.6 from the post of Sarpanch as he is in illegal occupation of the Panchayat land despite being Sarpanch and further to take action on the application dated 22.09.2023 (Annexure P-9), within some specified time by passing a speaking order.

Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed a representation dated 22.09.2023 (Annexure P-9) before respondent No.2, however, no action has been taken till date. Notice of motion.

Ms. Upasna Dhawan, AAG, Haryana who is present in the Court accepts notice on behalf of the respondent - State. Heard. The present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 i.e. Deputy Commissioner, Sonepat to decide the representation dated 22.09.2023 (Annexure P-9) filed by the petitioner, within a period of 04 weeks from today, in accordance with law.
