ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Separate affidavit of the Principal Secretary, Irrigation Department, Punjab, as well as the SDM-cum-Land Acquisition Collector, Dholbaha Dam, Construction Circle, Hoshiarpur, filed in the Court are taken on record.

Counsel for the State submits that the compensation was paid to the petitioner in the year 2006 and 2008, though, this fact is disputed by counsel for the petitioner.

However, considering the fact that the Writ Court has only directed the respondents to examine the matter and take steps, in accordance with law, no further action is called for. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
