The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under article 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer that this Hon'ble Court may issue a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing of transfer order dated 08.08.2025 (Annexure P.3) passed by respondent No.1 whereby the petitioner, a regularly appointed Sub Divisional Engineer (Civil) has been transferred vice versa with respondent No.3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the impugned action of the respondent-Department is discriminatory, arbitrary and violative of equality in the eyes of law.

Mr. Sushil Bhardwaj, learned Additional Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. 5.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts MANOJ KUMAR 2025.09.09 21:42 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order of instant case, present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent Nos.1

CWP No.26574-2025 & 2 to treat the present writ petition as a representation and decide the same by passing a speaking order, strictly adhering to the Policy/Instructions (Annexure P.2) as applicable in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Copy of which shall be furnished to the petitioner within next three days thereafter. 6.

Learned State counsel is directed to convey a copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition to the Competent Authority for necessary action. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
