(ORAL) Prayer in this petition is for grant of regular bail in FIR No.269 dated 01.09.2022 under Sections 379-B, 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Civil Lines, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the FIR was registered on the complaint given by one Geeta Rani, with the allegations that when she was going to attend her duty, two persons came on the motorcycle and snatched her mobile phone and ran away from the spot. It is further submitted that later on, the petitioners were arrested and mobile phone was recovered from petitioner No.2 Akashdeep Singh @ Bassi and motorcycle was recovered from petitioner No.1 Gurdev Singh. CRM-M-58248-2022 -2petitioners are first offenders; they are in custody for the last 03 months and 16 days and challan stands presented.

Learned State counsel has filed the custody certificate in the Court today and has not disputed the factual position. After hearing learned counsel for the parties, without commenting anything on merits of the case and considering aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this petition is allowed and the petitioners are directed to be released on regular bail subject to furnishing their bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, concerned.

Petition is disposed of.
