Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an outstanding sportsperson and had already applied for the gradation certificate by filing an application with the respondents-department, so as to compete for the Group D post under the quota of outstanding sportsperson, but the petitioner has not been granted the gradation certificate, which is causing prejudice to the petitioner. Hence, the respondents be directed to consider the application filed by the petitioner for the grant of gradation certificate and decide the said application in a time bound manner. 2.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Pankaj Middha, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that in case, the petitioner has already submitted an application for the issuance of the gradation certificate in the office of the concerned authorities and the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the competent authority within a period of two weeks of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order and in case, after the decision, the petitioner is found entitled for any gradation certificate as per the policy RIYA 2023.11.09 18:56 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 5.
