Petitioner has filed present petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.0082, dated 21.06.2025, under Sections 115(2), 118(1) and 3(5) of BNS, 2023 registered at Police Station Bahav Wala, District Fazilka.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that it is a dispute between the cousins regarding lift pump for irrigation of the field as they had joint land. The injuries suffered by the complainant are simple in nature and the maximum punishment provided for the offences under present FIR is up to three years. Petitioner is ready to join the investigation. 3.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the role of the present petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to join the investigation as and when required by Investigating Officer and the Investigating Officer is directed to follow the instructions of Hon'ble Supreme Court in Arnesh Kumar Vs. State of Bihar and another, (2014) 8 SCC, 273 and Satender Kumar Antil vs. CBI, (2022) 10 SCC 51.
