'It is, therefore, respectfully prayed that this petition may kindly be allowed and the petitioner may kindly be ordered to be released on regular bail in FIR No.84 Dated 19.08.2022 under Section 15 and 29 of NDPS Act, 1985, P.S. Chhajli, District Sangrur, Punjab.' 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for some time, seeks to withdraw the petition in hand at this stage. It is, however, submitted that since the case is at the defence evidence and the petitioner is in custody since 19.8.2022, the trial Court be directed to expedite the proceedings and conclude the trial in a time bound manner. 3.
