(ORAL) CRM-15317-2023 This is an application filed by learned counsel for respondent No. 2 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for placing on record the medical record of complainant, photographs of injuries, FIR, complaint moved by her father, list of dowry articles, recovery memo alongwith photograph of recovered dowry articles and photographs of dowry articles which are yet to be recovered and complaint moved by the complainant for threatening to viral the obscene photos and videos as Annexure C-1 to C-8.

For the reasons enumerated in the application, the same is allowed. Accompanied documents Annexure C-1 to C-8 are taken on record. CRM stands disposed of.

The petitioner - Puneet Chopra has filed the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 55 dated 20.02.2022 under Section 406, 498-A, 377, 506, 34 of IPC, registered at Police Station Sabzi Mandi, District Rohtak.

The facts of the case are that Shreya Kawatra - complainant filed written complaint alleging that her marriage was arranged with Puneet Chopra - petitioner through Jeewansathi.com matrimonial website. Their marriage was solemnized on 21.02.2019 in Delhi. The marriage ceremony took place as per the demand of accused persons. She gave birth to a male child on 15.10.2020. She was given costly dowry articles, gold ornaments, diamond ornaments etc at the time of marriage. Her parents had spent Rs. 1 crore at the time of marriage. Before marriage, the complainant left her job to stay in the matrimonial home. The complainant was physically and mentally harassed in the matrimonial home. She tried to adjust in the new family. She was constantly insulted and harassed by her husband and his family members. Ultimately, she joined her service on 30.

05.2019. Her husband forced her to give her entire salary to him and his mother. She was not allowed to use her salary. The complainant has narrated various incidents which took place in the matrimonial home. She was not given proper care during the time of her pregnancy. They were raising demand for car of Rs. 25 lacs from her parents and in order to pressurize her she was ill treated. They also shifted in a rental accommodation.

-3jewellery. Even in that house, she was not treated properly. Ultimately she filed this complaint, on the basis of which present FIR has been registered. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner argued that the matter has been compromised between the parties. They have filed joint petition seeking divorce under Section 13-B of Hindu Marriage Act. He is ready to abide by the terms of bail order. Therefore, his anticipatory bail application may be allowed. 4.

The bail application is not opposed by learned counsel for the complainant. Status report is filed. The learned State counsel pointed out that after completion of investigation challan will be presented in the Court. 5.

I have considered the arguments and have gone through the record carefully. As referred above, the matter has been compromised between the parties and they have also filed petition seeking divorce under Section 13-B of Hindu Marriage Act. Copy of statements recorded on first motion is also placed on record. This fact is also confirmed by the learned counsel for the complainant. Even otherwise, the petitioner is ready to join the investigation as and when required. Therefore, considering these facts, the anticipatory bail application filed by the petitioner - Puneet Chopra is allowed. He be not arrested. In case of his arrest, he be released on bail on furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of Investigating Officer/Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions enshrined under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

The petition is accordingly, accepted.
