Neither the complainant nor other material witnesses who had allegedly witnessed the occurrence have supported the prosecution version in their respective sworn depositions as recorded before the trial Court. All the material witnesses have been examined. Since their statements do not prove the guilt of the petitioner, therefore, it is urged that he has become entitled to extended benefit of bail, especially due to the reason that he is in custody for a period of more than four and half years. Trial is likely to take time. %
