The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No. 0272 dated 22.09.2023 under Sections 306 and 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Sadar Palwal, District Palwal, Haryana (Annexure P-8).

Learned counsel for the petitioners has argued that the said FIR deserves to be quashed, as it was in fact the deceased who had committed atrocities upon petitioner No. 1 to the extent of cutting her hand qua which FIR No. 0729 dated 26.08.2023 under Section 307 IPC (Annexure P-5) was lodged at Delhi against the deceased. 3.

He further submits that, in fact, petitioner No. 1 and the deceased were in a matrimonial dispute and two FIRs bearing FIR No. 429 dated 06.06.2021 under Sections 308, 323, 498-A, 504 and 506 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 and PARUL 2023.11.14 10:23 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

These are serious allegations leveled against the deceased, however, there is a written suicide note of the deceased and on the said basis, the present FIR No. 0272 dated 22.09.2023 has been lodged and is at initial stage of investigation.

I do not find any merit to interfere at this stage. 6.
