RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of interim bail of one month to the petitioner due to death of mother on 29.10.2023 and the Bhog ceremony to be held on 08.11.2023 in case FIR No.0142 dated 06.05.2020 under Sections 302, 454, 380, 34 IPC and subsequently challan has been filed under Sections 302, 450, 380, 201, 120B, 34, 376-D IPC (Section 454 IPC has been deleted and Section 376-D, 120-B, 201, 450 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar. It has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is behind bars since May 2020. He submits that his mother has died on 29.10.2023 and Bhog ceremony is to be held on 08.11.2023. He submits that petitioner being the elder son is required to be present in the ceremony.
