Today, at the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer to issuance of a direction to respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga to consider and dispose of his representation dated 6.10.2024 (Annexure P-14).

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga to look into the matter and to get the representation dated 6.10.2024 (Annexure P-14) examined to the limited extent of alleged threat perception of the petitioner and of any other member of her immediate family. In case, it is found that there is any gunine threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner and of any other member of her immediate family, then necessary steps as may be warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest so as to ensure that no Pankaj Kakkar 2024.10.23 17:14 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRM-M-52580-2024 (O&M) ( 2 ) harm is caused to the petitioner or to members of her immediate family in any manner.

It is, however, clarified that this order is not to be construed as any kind of immunity in case it is found that the petitioner or any member of her family is involved in commission of any criminal offence. 4.

A copy of this order alongwith copy of representation dated 6.10.2024 (Annexure P-14) be sent to respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga for necessary compliance.
