The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of direction in the nature of habeas corpus to appoint a warrant officer from this court to search the detenue who has been immured by respondents No.4 to 9 and after recovering her to set her at liberty; along with certain other prayers. 2.

Vide order dated 03.11.2023, on request of counsel for the petitioner, the Warrant Officer was ordered to be appointed in the matter for visiting the premises of respondents No.4 to 9 to get the alleged detenue released. However, the office report shows that neither notice could be issued to the respondents because the counsel for the petitioner did not file process fees, nor the counsel for the petitioner approached the office for getting the Warrant Officer appointed. In view of the above, this court does not find any ground to continue with the present petition any more. Accordingly the same is dismissed.
