**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to conduct an inquiry on the complaints/representations dated 06.05.2022 and 10.10.2022 (Annexure P-2 and P-4) moved by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that niece of the petitioner has been married to Simky Goyal-respondent No.4 herein and that respondent No.4 had sent defamation messages on Facebook to the petitioner.

Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3-State only. On the asking of this Court, Mr. Harkanwar Jeet Singh, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3-State only. He, on the instructions from the concerned Investigating Officer, submits that the Police has received a representation dated 06.05.2022 from the petitioner, following which he was called and asked to share the AMAN JAIN 2022.12.23 05:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

CRM-M-58555-2022 (O&M) -2URL Link, but he failed to do so and that though respondent No.4 was also called in the Police Station for the purpose of investigation, yet the fact remains that in the meantime, he had deleted the alleged post from the Facebook. He further submits that the Police has not received representation dated 10.10.2022 till date and in case they receive the said representation, the same will be decided as per law. In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will again approach the Station House Officer, Police Station Bareta, District Mansa and will provide the URL Link as well.

Accordingly, no further orders are required to be passed. Disposed of.
