The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C read with Section 482 Cr.P.C for grant of interim bail to the petitioner till the receipt of FSL report in FIR No. 241 dated 22.08.2023 under Section 21 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station City Kapurthala, District Kapurthala. 2.

As per the order dated 14.11.2023, learned State counsel was directed to seek instructions with regard to the status of FSL report to which he has submitted on instructions from ASI Narinder Kumar that the same is still awaited.

Learned State counsel has filed the custody certificate of the petitioner in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody from 24.08.2023, the petitioner is granted the concession of interim bail till the filing of the FSL report and shall surrender on the date when FSL report is submitted.

Although the other issues and grounds are not being adjudicated at this stage and the same are kept open for the parties to raise at an appropriate stage.

With the above said direction, the present petition stands disposed of.
