In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a direction to the respondents to restrain them from continuing with the departmental proceedings during the pendency of the criminal trial in FIR No.0038 dated 18.11.2022 registered under Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Section 13 (1) B of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 added lateron) at Police Station SVB Faridabad, District Faridabad (Annexure P-1).

Learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Vikramjit O/o DCP, Faridabad, submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the departmental enquiry has already been concluded and an order of punishment of stoppage of two increments with cumulative effect has been imposed upon the petitioner vide order dated 16.09.2024. on 21.01.2025. As such, nothing survives in the present writ petition. 3.

In view of the statement given by learned State counsel, no relief can be granted to the petitioner. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file an application for revival of the writ petition, if any cause still survives. 4.

Disposed of with the aforesaid liberty.
