(ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No. 290 dated 30.06.2022 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 376-AB, 120-B IPC and Section 6 of POCSO Act registered at Police Station Taraori, Karnal. Learned counsel for the State has filed custody certificate dated 14.03.2024 which is taken on record, as per which the petitioner has been in custody as under trial for a period of 1 year, 8 months and 10 days. Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for sometime, when this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner, submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition. Permitted to do so.
