The petitioners through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India are seeking direction to respondents to re-issue passport to petitioner No. 1.

The petitioner No. 1 is a minor daughter of Rekha Rani and Sukhveer Singh. The parents of petitioner No. 1 are not in good terms. They filed petition under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act seeking divorce by mutual consent, however, it was withdrawn. The petitioners have applied for re-issuance of passport, however, respondents in the absence of consent of father of the petitioner No. 1 has withheld passport. 3.

Learned counsel for Union of India, who on advance notice is present in Court, submits that petitioners have filed representation dated PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.11.08 16:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
