*** RAJ MOHAN SINGH (Oral) The case has been taken up for hearing through videoconferencing. Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.134 dated 10.09.2019, registered under Sections 307, 353, 333, 186, 332, 34 IPC, at Police Station Sadar Ludhiana, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana.

The FIR was registered at the instance of Deepak Singla who is a serving Patwari. On 10.09.2019, he went to his duty. When he was doing his routine work then at about 11:00 a.m., four persons holding 'datars' in their hands attacked upon him. The complainant received injuries on his person. The allegations are that Jaspreet Singh Patwari is the main accused and the injuries have been caused by those unknown persons at the instance of said Jaspreet MAMTA MALHOTRA 2021.09.24 15:46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-50758-2019 -2Singh Patwari. Said Jaspreet Singh Patwari has already been granted regular bail. Allegation against the petitioner is that he alongwith his brother Navneet Singh had hired the assailants for causing injuries to the complainant. Said Navneet Singh has already been granted anticipatory bail by the High Court vide order dated 24.01.2020, passed in CRM-M-54869-2019.

Learned State counsel on instructions from concerned Investigating Officer admits the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no more required for further investigation of the case. Even the challan has already been presented before the competent court.

In view of aforesaid factual position, the interim anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 13.12.2019 is ordered to be confirmed. The petitioner shall keep on appearing before the trial Court regularly.

Petition stands disposed of.
