(Oral) On 20.12.2022, following order was passed:- "Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 to 3 to provide protection of lives and liberty to the petitioners, at the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No. 2-Jatinder Singh had earlier married to respondent No. 8-Kamaljit Kaur on 19.06.2021. But due to temperamental differences, both of them got separated and now with the relations of the petitioners, respondent No.8 (wife of petitioner No. 2) has no objection. Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. J.S. Arora, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3 (State). He seeks time to file status report.

Adjourned to 28.02.2023.

Respondent No. 8- Kamaljit Kaur, would be present before JAWALA RAM 2023.04.12 19:22 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgement.

As per office report, notice upon respondents could not be issued for want of process fee. Otherwise also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.
