HARSH BUNGER, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is for quashing of FIR No.99 dated 21.10.2022 registered under Sections 61, 78(2) of the Excise Act (Annexure P-1), at Police Station Hathur, District Ludhiana, along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present petition with liberty to take recourse to the remedy(ies) as available to the petitioner in accordance with law.
