The instant criminal writ petition has been filed for seeking directions to respondent No. 2 to 4 to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioner and his family members and also to direct respondent No.5 not to interfere in the personal life of the petitioner. 2.

A status report by way of an affidavit of Deepak Saharan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Sirsa has been filed wherein it has been averred that the respondents have already conducted a detailed enquiry into the allegations levelled by the petitioner and the incident of gun shot having been fired at the CCTV cameras installed in the house of the petitioner is being thoroughly investigated.   police authorities to ensure a fair, lawful and effective investigation. A scene of crime report has also been appended and the physical evidence in the form of CCTV camera had also been recovered and sent to the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Hisar for ballistic analysis. The said report has also been received. An FIR No. 257 dated 18.12.2025 was thereafter registered under Section 287, 324(4) of the BNS, 2023 and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station Nathusari Chopta against respondent No.5Nandlal @ Nand Lal @ Kalu son of Kanhi Ram. It has been averred that investigation is presently underway in accordance with law and all angles are being examined including identification of the perpetrators, the firearm used, motive and antecedents. It is further averred that appropriate steps have been taken by the police officials to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and currently 03 Police Officials (ERU-631) have already been deployed outside the house of the petitioner to ensure the safety and security of the petitioner herein.

I am of the opinion that the apprehensions expressed by the petitioner by way of the present petition have been considered and appropriate steps are being taken to ensure protection of life and liberty of the petitioner has already been taken by the respondents. 4.

Under the given circumstances, no further directions are required to be issued. The present petition is accordingly disposed of at this stage.
