NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) The petitioner has filed the present 1st petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail in case FIR No. 287 dated 03.06.2022 registered under Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Sections 343, 363, 366A, 376(2)(n) IPC at Police Station Sadar Jind, District Jind.
Learned counsel for the State has filed custody certificate dated 21.03.2024, which is taken on record, as per which the petitioner has been acquitted by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jind, vide judgment of acquittal dated 07.02.2024. Thus, learned counsel for the State submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous. In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant petition may be disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.
