The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of action of respondents for not granting interest on delayed payment of retiral benefits.

The petitioner has already been released entire retiral benefits which include pension, gratuity and leave encashment. 3.

Mr. Singla submits that there was delay in payment of leave encashment, gratuity and arrears of pension, thus, respondent is liable to pay interest.
