 The petitioners have filed this application for grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 29 dated 11.04.2024 under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (Section 29 of the NDPS Act added later on) registered at Police Station City Dhuri, District Sangrur wherein the petitioners are stated to be in custody since 11.04.2024. 2.

Though the petitioners have clean antecedents but considering the commercial quantity seized of 280 grams of Heroine from the possession of the petitioners and other co-accused, it would be appropriate to await examination of main prosecution witnesses before the trial Court, which is yet to be concluded.

Accordingly, this Court declines the prayer for grant of regular bail to the petitioners for the time being with the aforesaid liberty.
