**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (ORAL) Custody certificate of the petitioner filed by learned State counsel today in the Court, is taken on record.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the convict has already undergone custody of 07 months 25 days and he submits that he would be contended and satisfied in case sentence is reduced to already undergone the period and he does not want to argue the matter on merits. He further submits that the reasons for reduction of sentence is that the petitioner is now 65 years of age and has various health issues accompanied with the old age.
The prayer is genuine and the same is allowed. Considering the age of the petitioner being 65 years and accompanied health conditions, the sentence is reduced to already undergone and the fine is confiscated to the State. Bail bonds and surety bonds are discharged. The present petition stands disposed of. All pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
