Learned State counsel has filed reply dated 25.10.2024, by way of a short affidavit of Sh. Tejpal Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, GRP, Ludhiana, on behalf of respondent-State of Punjab, which is taken on record. It has been informed that cancellation report has been prepared in the present FIR and the same has been submitted before the Court of Area Magistrate on 10.10.2024. The statement of the complainant has also been recorded by the Area Magistrate. 2.

Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition and both the counsel for the parties want to pursue the cancellation report submitted before the trial Court, as per law. Learned counsel for the petitioner also seeks liberty to file a fresh petition, in case any adverse order is passed by the Area Magistrate.
