Learned counsel for petitioner argued that petitioner is falsely implicated in this case. No offence under Section 306 of IPC is made out. Petitioner is behind the bars since 17.02.2023. Case is still pending for prosecution evidence. Petitioner is ready to abide by the terms and conditions of bail order.

Bail petition is opposed by learned counsel representing State assisted by learned counsel for complainant. It is pointed out that there are specific serious allegations against the petitioner. The trial is going on. A young girl lost her life due to the act and conduct of the petitioner. Therefore, he is not entitled to be released on bail.

I have considered the arguments and have gone through the record. Petitioner is behind the bars since 17.02.2023. Trial in this case is going on. Statements of complainant Prabhjot Kaur as PW-1 and Sukhwinder Singh as PW-2 have been recorded levelling allegations against the petitioner. It is a case of unnatural death of the victim i.e. daughter of the complainant. Trial in this case may take long time. Petitioner is already behind the bars for the last more than 02 years. Therefore, without expressing my mind on merits of the case,  %'*
