(Oral) The petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the qualifying service rendered by the petitioner for the purpose of pension from the date of his appointment and not from the date of his contribution of provident fund and to pay the revised pension and arrears along with interest.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the respondents. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to decide the pending legal notice, dated 09.09.2024, Annexure P-3, in a specified period. 3.
