The petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.0045, dated 17.4.2023 registered at Police Station Raman, District Bathinda, under Sections 307, 336, 506, 148, 149 of Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of Arms Act, wherein offences under Sections 307, 148, 149 IPC were deleted and Section 34 IPC was added later on, and all subsequent proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of a compromise stated to have been effected between the parties. 2.

Notice of motion had been issued in the present case and the parties had been directed to get their statements recorded as regards the factum of compromise.

Learned State counsel, upon instructions from the Investigating Officer, has informed that upon investigation of the matter, Section 307 IPC was not found to be made and stands deleted.

Vide order dated 8.9.2023, the parties had been directed to appear before the Illaqa Magistrate/Trial Court so as to get their statements recorded qua the factum of compromise.

Report of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Talwandi Sabo, District Bathinda has been received, wherein it has been reported that statements of petitioners/accused Veerinder Singh Sidhu @ Bindi, Sukhmander Singh son of Gulzar Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Sukhmander Singh son of Mander Singh and also of respondent No.2/complainant Swaran Singh have been recorded to the effect that they have compromised the matter amongst themselves. 6.

Respondent No.2/complainant in his statement has stated that he has no objection in case the FIR in question is quashed. 7.

Learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Talwandi Sabo, District Bathinda has specifically opined that the parties have entered into compromise voluntarily and without any undue influence. 8.

In view of the aforesaid compromise and bearing in mind the law laid down by Full Bench of this Court in 2007(3) RCR (Crl.) 1052 Kulwinder Singh and others Vs.
