(Oral) The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to give compassionate appointment to the petitioner in lieu of her deceased husband, namely Sh. Gulab Singh, who was working with the respondent - Corporation as Part Time Sweeper. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to release the full salary to the petitioner and also pay arrears of her full salary from the date of her appointment along with all consequential benefits viz. salary arising therefrom and further to pay the arrears of salary along with interest @ 12% per annum from the due date till its actual payment.

A perusal of the order dated 07.02.2024 (Annexure P-4), show that the claim of the husband of the petitioner for regularization MOHD YAKUB 2024.10.29 18:14 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

CWP No.29506 of 2024 (O&M) has been rejected on the ground that he has already died and without challenging the said order, the instant petition has been filed seeking compassionate appointment.

Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to challenge the order dated 07.02.2024 (Annexure P-4).
